FBevent coverWe are honoured that the keynote speakers, Nico Degenkolb and Zoltán Mészáros have accepted our invitation to give plenary presentations at the UNeECC Annual Conference 2023 in Veszprém, Hungary. The keynote speeches can be heard in the morning of 28th September in the Conference Center of the University of Pannonia (in Building B).

In 2011, Nico Degenkolb joined the Goethe-Institut Head Office where he currently holds the position of Senior advisor for Cultural & Creative Industries. Nico is project Head of Goethe-Institute's Creative City Programme "Cities Ahead". From 2017- 2021, Nico served as Bid Coordinator of the shortlisted application of the City of Nuremberg for the title "European Capital of Culture 2025". Nico holds degrees in History (B.A.) and International Relations & European Studies (M.A.) from the University of Augsburg and Central European University Budapest.

Owner and managing director of Oliva Hotel**** and Restaurant, founder and managing director of VeszpremFest, member of the bidding team since the beginning of Veszprém-Balaton 2023 ECOC, first CEO of the company, chief advisor recently.
