On behalf of UNICA President, Prof. Sorin Costreie, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend the second edition of the UNICA days, the network’s annual flagship event, taking place at the University Foundation, Brussels, 27 - 28 February 2025, under the overarching theme “The role of university networks in the context of the European Universities alliances”.
The UNICA days intend to represent a significant milestone in the network’s ongoing efforts to contribute to the future of European Higher Education and Research and to offer a dynamic platform for deep engagement, collaboration, and forward-thinking discussions.
The event is open to the academic leadership and other representatives of UNICA member universities as well as to partner organizations, representatives of University networks and of the European Universities alliances, European HE stakeholders, and policy makers.
Please note that you are also more than welcome to join us for the Networking reception, which will take place on 27 February, 19:00-21:00 at Usquare Brussels.
TOPICS: the event will feature meetings and discussions covering challenging topics for our community:
- Collaboration between European Universities alliances and ‘traditional” networks;
- European and multiple degrees;
- Research and Innovation within the European University Alliances;
- The role of new technologies in HE;
- Universities’ role in urban contexts.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- Venue: The full event will take place at the University Foundation, rue d’Egmont 11, 1000 Brussels, room Cattier (ground floor).
- The Networking reception on 27 February will take place at Usquare Brussels - Avenue de la Couronne 227, 1050 Ixelles, Brussels.

REGISTRATION: participation is free but registration is mandatory. Participants are kindly invited to register to the event via the registration form available at the event webpage at their earliest convenience, and no later than 21 February 2025.
